NEW YORK-Telecom Analysis Systems, Eatontown, N.J., said Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, has implemented the TAS Code Division Multiple Access Automatic Test System for testing software in its cellular and personal communications services phones.
A turnkey hardware and software solution, the TAS CDMA ATS automatically tests cellular and PCS handsets to see if they adhere to CDMA performance standards, thereby shortening product development cycles.
W. David Tarver, chief executive officer of Telecom Analysis Systems, said the company “worked closely with CDMA Development Group members and other industry leaders to develop this much needed solution for CDMA mobile phone testing.”
