ALEXANDRIA, Minn.-Cellular 2000/Rural Cellular Corp. added six cellular sites to its Minnesota operational service area. The Menahga, Red Lake Falls, Perham, Deer River, South Bemidji and Brandon cellular towers will improve cellular coverage for these six rural communities and the surrounding area.
“In order to provide the service our customers are desiring, and in order to be accommodating of the phenomenal growth within the telecommunications industry, we have added these additional wireless telecommunication sites,” said Richard Ekstrand, president and chief executive of Rural Cellular Corp.
“The addition of these wireless sites provides enhanced call quality and further expands our wireless footprint.”
Keypage/Rural Cellular Corp. added two additional paging transmitters in Elbow Lake and Nokay Lake to its Minnesota operational service area.
