CARROLLTON, Texas-CellStar Corp. announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TA Intercall AB, a wholesale distributor of wireless communications products in Sweden.
TA Intercall recorded sales of about $83 million for the year ended Dec. 31. The company distributes products in Sweden and internationally for manufacturers, including L.M. Ericsson, Nokia Corp. and Motorola Inc.
The acquisition is expected to close during the first quarter.
