Motorola announced that its Customer Owned Messaging and JTECH Communications Inc. have signed an agreement to develop new applications for on-premises paging systems for markets such as business offices, retail stores, manufacturing facilities, restaurants and auto dealerships.
David Wooldridge, director of operations for Motorola’s Customer Owned Messaging, a part of the Paging Products Group, said the new alliance with JTECH makes them “confident that on-premises pagers will soon be as common in the workplace as PCs and telephones.”
