Pinnacle Towers Inc. has gained access to cellular, paging and personal communications services markets in Baltimore and the eastern coast of Maryland following its acquisition of 12 towers from Shore & West Shore Communications.
“These acquisitions enhance the company’s current inventory of 310 existing sites,” said Robert J. Wolsey, president and chief executive officer of Pinnacle. Pinnacle has a network of towers from the Florida Keys to Baltimore and west toward Dallas. The company acquired and developed 45 towers in the fourth quarter of 1997. Financial terms of the recent transactions were not disclosed.
