BELLEVUE, Wash.-Advanced Radio Telecom Corp. announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with DCT Communications Inc. to acquire 49 additional 38 GHz licenses covering a population of approximately 63 million. ART will acquire all of the outstanding shares of DCT in exchange for shares of its common stock valued at $28 million, subject to adjustment based on the trading price of ART shares at the time of closing.
With the completion of this and other pending spectrum acquisitions, ART’s footprint will cover a population of more than 186 million in 210 markets.
