WEST POINT, Ga.-Powertel Inc. wants to lure landline long-distance customers to its personal communications services with its new advertising campaign, which touts unlimited wireless long-distance service, the company announced.
Powertel’s flat rate long-distance plan is $5 per month for unlimited calls to any one state within the company’s 12-state region or $15 per month for unlimited calls to all 12 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.
