PCS VETERANS START TELOS

Scott Schelle, former chief executive officer of American Personal Communications/Sprint Spectrum, and Anne Schelle, former vice president of external affairs, formed Telos Technologies L.L.C. to provide consulting services for the communications industry.

“It was an exhilarating experience to launch the nation’s first personal communications services network,” said Scott Schelle, who had primary operational responsibility for the first U.S. personal communications service, which began in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., market Nov. 15, 1995. “We learned from front-line experience how to successfully compete against entrenched wireless providers.”

Anne Schelle said the new company’s expertise would extend beyond traditional operational and management consulting. “We offer high-level strategic planning, marketing plan development, operational experience, financial services, legislative/regulatory and public relations expertise that are relevant to today’s marketplace,” she said.

Telos Technologies initially will operate out of Baltimore, with the two principals as its sole employees, and plans to grow and add employees in the coming months.
