PAGEMART’S NAFTA NETWORK GROWS

DALLAS-PageMart Wireless Inc. said its international network has expanded into Guatemala, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

The paging carrier added the networks of Guatemala’s Tele Escucha S.A., Costa Rica’s Radio Mensajes S.A. and the Dominican Republic’s Codetel, the latter a wholly owned subsidiary of GTE Telecommunications Services Inc.

These agreements add to PageMart’s “One Pager, No Borders” vision to allow international numeric and alphanumeric service roaming within countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement area. The new countries join Canada, Mexico and other Central American and Caribbean countries, which already have secured agreements with PageMart.
