KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sprint Spectrum L.P. introduced a new personal communications services phone manufactured by Samsung Telecommunications America. The Samsung SCH-1900 is the second digital Code Division Multiple Access handset from Samsung to be offered to consumers through Sprint PCS.
The co-branded phone has an active flip that enables users to answer and terminate calls, as well as protect the lock on the keypad. The standard battery provides two hours of talk time or 20 hours of standby time, and the optional extended battery provides up to five hours of talk time or 60 hours of standby time. The 7-ounce phone has nine ringer tones plus four melody options.
The SCH-1900 comes with a desktop charger and is available in Sprint PCS and RadioShack stores for a suggested retail price of $179.
