IRVINE, Calif.-AirTouch Southern California said it expanded its “all-Southern California home calling area,” called California Connection, to its digital customers in San Diego.
AirTouch customers can talk on their wireless phones from San Luis Obispo to the Mexico border at their local airtime rates, the company said. Calls made from the California Connection region to locations outside of Southern California, but still in the state, incur a long-distance charge of 10 cents per minute, and calls to locations outside the state cost 20 cents per minute.
