IRVING, Texas-NEC America Inc.’s Communications Terminals Division and United States Cellular Corp. announced they will work together in an advertising program to promote a prepaid wireless service called TalkTracker.
U S Cellular’s TalkTracker program offers an NEC cellular phone and prepaid wireless service without a credit check, contract or monthly payment, said the companies.
During the promotion, customers who sign up for TalkTracker will receive $25 off the package of an NEC TalkTime 820 cellular phone, the activation fee and a $25 TalkTracker card. The phone itself retails for about $100.
