XYPOINT SUPPLIES E911 TO PRIMECO

SEATTLE-Xypoint Corp. said it signed a three-year contract to provide wireless enhanced 911 services to PrimeCo Personal Communications L.P.

Xypoint’s services will allow public safety answering points to receive the 10-digit callback number and location of the cell site transmitting emergency calls from PrimeCo phones.

PrimeCo, which is owned by AirTouch Communications Inc. and Bell Atlantic Mobile, is the sixth major carrier to select Xypoint’s E911 solution.
