ISLANDIA, N.Y.-Affordable Message Center Inc. introduced its Internet Messaging service, which it said allows paging carriers and resellers to add Internet paging for any subscriber on their existing paging networks without the need to subscribe to AMC’s operator-assisted message dispatch.
Affordable Message said paging providers can offer Internet messaging to all subscribers, regardless of which dispatch center they use for alpha and wireless e-mail dispatch.
Carrier pricing will be determined depending on the contract, the company said, while reseller pricing will range from $1 to $5.50 per pager, depending on the paging carrier and the call package.
