COSTA MESA, Calif.-The CDMA Development Group announced it plans to deploy cdmaOne technology in Mexico’s personal communications services and wireless local loop markets.
The group hopes to bring Code Division Multiple Access technology to Mexico’s population of 94 million by the first quarter of 1999. The Pegaso Comunicaciones y Sistemas consortium is busy building the nation’s latest PCS network based on cdmaOne, said the CDG.
