BURLINGTON, Mass.-Lightbridge Inc. said it opened its London-based United Kingdom subsidiary, Lightbridge Technologies Ltd., as a foundation for the company’s growing investment in the European market.
Lisa Modisette was appointed managing director of European operations to spearhead Lightbridge’s European segment. Modisette previously was responsible for developing Lightbridge’s customer intelligence solution. She joined Lightbridge in 1994 and has driven the development of the customer-analysis product line since its origin, the company said.
“The European market opens up exciting opportunities and challenges to us,” said Pamela Reeve, president and chief executive officer of Lightbridge. “With the emergence of deregulation, European operators face fierce competition in the telecommunications industry.
“By working closely with existing clients and partners, we will extend our reach to help other leading operators solve their customer-acquisition and retention issues.” Reeve stated.
