J.D. POWER BEGINS 1998 USER SATISFACTION STUDY

WESTPORT, Conn.-Customers in 21 U.S. markets and one in Toronto are being asked to evaluate their wireless provider during the first phase of J.D. Power and Associates’ 1998 Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study.

Mobile consumers will report on their carrier’s reputation, pricing plans, billing, call quality and its ability to resolve issues in a timely manner, the market research company said.

Results of the study on cellular and personal communications services providers are scheduled to be released in September.
