SUNNYVALE, Calif.-California Microwave Inc. announced it acquired Adaptive Broadband Ltd., gaining Time Division Multiple Access and asynchronous transfer mode technology to improve the data rates of its narrowband radio products and to allow point-to-multipoint applications.
California Microwave bought United Kingdom-based Adaptive from the Olivetti and Oracle Research Laboratory, Cambridge, United Kingdom. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
