EVANSTON, Ill.-A $600,000 grant from Motorola Inc. will fund research in wireless multimedia devices and protocols design in a new Northwestern-Motorola Center for Telecommunications in Northwestern University’s Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
The grant is intended to strengthen Motorola’s relationship with Northwestern and develop technologies important to the university and which Motorola can draw upon, said the company.
