VANCOUVER-Clearnet Communications Inc. announced the Vancouver launch of its the Mike personal communications services network in the greater Vancouver area.
Mike offers all the benefits of Clearnet PCS, including per-second billing, services such as caller ID and call waiting, enhanced call clarity, security and battery life, as well as an additional digital feature called Mike’s Direct Connect that allows users to communicate with each other instantly, said Clearnet.
Clearnet has invested about $50 million in building out the Mike network in British Columbia, bringing its total investment in the province to more than $100 million in the last year, the company said.
Clearnet directly employs more than 125 people in British Columbia, and Clearnet Mike dealers in the area employ more than 250 people.
