PENSACOLA, Fla.-BellSouth Mobility Inc. launched personal communications services in northwest Florida, including Panama City, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Ocala and Tampa.
The company’s licenses in northwest Florida include Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties.
The expansion will allow BellSouth Mobility customers to use their package minutes in 15 northwest Florida counties and seven Alabama counties. The company also plans to offer BellSouth.net Internet service, wireless long-distance and local telephone service on a single bill. Paging is expected to be available by the end of this month.
