PALO ALTO, Calif.-Corsair Communications Inc. announced it signed a three-year contract with
Comunicacion Celular S.A., the A-band carrier for Colombia, for nationwide deployment of PhonePrint 5.0, a fraud
prevention system which uses radio-frequency fingerprinting to authenticate legitimate customers and disconnect
cloned phones.
Corsair’s PhonePrint 5.0 is expected to save Comcel millions in fraud reduction and protect
Comcel’s 700,000 cellular subscribers, said Corsair.
