MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill.-Illinois Superconductor Corp. said it became an approved vendor for a
large cellular system manufacturer, which it declined to name.
As an approved vendor, Illinois Superconductor can
provide its product directly from the original equipment manufacturer to cellular and personal communications services
operators for use in new and existing cell sites. In order to achieve OEM approved vendor listing, the company was
required to pass an extensive on-site quality review.
Illinois Superconductor provides radio-frequency products that
are designed to enhance the quality and capacity of wireless telecommunications services.
