RICHARDSON, Texas-TruePosition Inc. and Ericsson Inc. announced an agreement to develop
and market a mobile positioning solution for Time Division Multiple Access networks, based on the TruePosition
Wireless Location system and the Ericsson Mobile Positioning Center.
Under the agreement, Ericsson and
TruePosition said they will work to accelerate the deployment of wireless location systems to support enhanced 911
requirements and other commercial applications. The agreement initially will focus on Ericsson’s TDMA/Advanced
Mobile Phone Service customers in the United States and Canada, said the companies.
