MCLEAN, Va.-LCC International Inc., a radio-frequency engineering and wireless
telecommunications consulting firm, said it is considering spinning off some of its product businesses in an effort to
focus on its core tower and telecom services business.
The company said it is in the process of selecting an
investment-banking firm to pursue alternatives including a sale, joint venture or spin-off. Meanwhile the company said
it would consider all options for its hardware and software businesses.
LCC said it will delay reporting its financial
results for the fourth quarter and year ended Dec. 31 until it determines whether it will change how it presents those
results based on the recommendation of its investment bankers.
