GREENVILLE, S.C.-Bell Atlantic Mobile’s DigitalChoice customers who receive or make many
calls to other Bell Atlantic Mobile customers now can travel throughout most of the Carolinas and make an unlimited
number of local calls for an additional $10 monthly access fee, said the company.
The unlimited mobile-to-mobile
package is available to those on the DigitalChoice 225 or higher rate plans.
In the past, Bell Atlantic Mobile said
customers only could make and receive calls from the area in which they resided. Now, the unlimited coverage area
encompasses the Midlands and upstate South Carolina, and the Piedmont and western region of North Carolina,
including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Greenwood, Columbia, Charlotte, Hickory, Boone and Asheville.
