CAMARILLO, Calif.-Following a recently announced strategic shift in senior management with
the appointment of Kirk A. Waldron to president and chief executive officer, AML Communications Inc. downsized its
92-person staff to approximately 67.
“The reduced head count better supports our revenue flow and in
conjunction with the cost-control actions taken, improves our cost structure and allows us to better manage overhead
without impeding critical development efforts or customer support,” said Waldron.
The company said it also
will initiate other cost-control actions that, when aggregated with the reduction in work force, are expected to result in
savings of approximately $1.5 million.
