PEGASO GETS $100M IN CAPITAL

MEXICO CITY-Pegaso PCS announced it obtained $100 million in working capital from a
consortium of international financial institutions to complete the funding it needs to build out and launch its wireless
network in Tijuana, Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara-Mexico’s four largest cities.

This latest commitment
brings Pegaso’s total to $1.1 billion in equity, debt and vendor financing. Qualcomm Inc. agreed to guarantee the capital
facility, said Pegaso.

The company launched service in its first market, the Tijuana area, on Feb. 25.
