BALTIMORE-GoAmerica Communications Corp. announced a program it said will allow wireline Internet service providers to offer their customers wireless data access.
The company said the ISP2000 program will allow users to access their wireline ISP’s home page and e-mail from devices such as the Inter@ctive 950 pager from Research In Motion Ltd. and the Palm III organizer connected to a Minstrel III wireless modem.
Additionally, the company said it formed a relationship with KenTech and Agendex Inc. to provide event planners and financial road show coordinators with planning and event resources via the same types of devices. “Go on the Road” is designed to provide access to schedules, contact information, airline flight times and local area information via palmtop organizers and the RIM pager.
