LAS VEGAS-Lucent Technologies Inc. announced it will provide Oklahoma-based Pioneer Telephone Cooperative with an intelligent network platform, enabling Pioneer to build out its network in phases and offer advanced services such as prepaid, short message service and call screening.
Lucent said additional applications such as emergency 911, location-based services, calling party pays and voice-activated dialing for both wireless and wireline customers are being developed on the IN platform.
