SALT LAKE CITY-World Wireless Communications Inc. said it received a significant investment from the pension plan of Siemens AG. The investment amount was not disclosed.
The company also introduced the 900 SS Hopper and the X-tra Web products.
The 900 SS Hopper is a frequency-hopping spread spectrum data radio that incorporates World Wireless’ Secure-Synch technology. Secure-Synch increases data transfer rates, adds security and reduces wireless implementation costs, said the company.
