Authentix

Authentix Network Inc. announced David Rowan and Raymond Szull joined the company as regional vice presidents in sales. Rowan will be based in Pennsylvania and will be responsible for eastern sales, and Szull will be based in Illinois, in charge of Midwest sales.

Authentix also elected BCE Capital’s Vice President of Investments David McCarthy to its board of directors.

TIW

Telesystem International Wireless Inc. appointed Benoit Forcier to director of investor relations. He succeeds Marie-Claude Fortin, who was named senior analyst in the corporate financial planning group. Forcier previously was with BCE Capital and Bell Canada.

Leo Mac 2-Way Radio Service

Alan Miller now is the corporate sales and marketing manager at Leo Mac 2-Way Radio Service Inc. He will be responsible for developing marketing strategies for Motorola Inc. and a range of special application radio products. For 10 years Miller was a direct sales manager for Motorola’s Government Markets Division.

Nokia

Michael Ross joined Nokia Display Products Inc. as senior director of reseller and channel sales. He will be responsible for strengthening NDPI’s relationships with its channel partners as well as developing new reseller programs. Ross comes to NDPI with more than 16 years of channel sales experience. He previously worked as vice president of distribution sales for Panamax, a California-based manufacturer of electrical surge-protection products.

Summit Manufacturing

Tony Jost was selected president and chief executive officer of Summit Manufacturing L.L.C. Jost previously served as vice president and chief executive officer of the company. Prior to joining Summit, Jost was regional operations manager for Kawneer Co. Inc.

Chadmoore Wireless

Chadmoore Wireless Group Inc. hired Vince F. Hedrick as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He previously worked for Vanguard Cellular Systems Corp. from 1986 until the present where he held several executive positions and most recently was vice president of strategic programs. Prior to Vanguard, Hedrick worked for Conestega Telephone Company.

SCC Communications

SCC Communications Corp. appointed Larry Jennings vice president of sales. Jennings previously served as vice president of sales for Teletrac Inc. in San Diego. He was responsible for building a national organization to market integrated software applications. He also worked at Premiere Page, a regional paging and voice mail service company, as vice president of operations.

Sprint PCS

Diana Samuels has been promoted to store manager for the Sprint PCS/US Unwired retail store at the Central Mall in Port Arthur, La. She previously was a sales representative.

AT&T Wireless Services

Richard Grimes has been appointed director of network realization for AT&T Wireless Services for California and Hawaii. Grimes will assume responsibility for network system expansion and development of real estate, entitlements, construction, materials purchasing and management and property management for the network including more than 1,300 telecommunications facilities, 14 multiple telephone switch offices and the current build out of the San Diego market.

BearCom Group

BearCom Group Inc. promoted Jeff Paul to director of BearCom Central America. He has relocated to Guatemala City and will manage the company’s distribution center there. He previously was the western regional business development manager at the company.

Mark O’Brien has been appointed the systems integration manager for BearCom’s western region. He will manage the company’s system integration efforts including program management, bid and quote and contract administration for large projects. O’Brien previously worked at Motorola and most recently served as systems integration manager for the western region.

Ensemble

Ensemble Communications Inc. appointed Jim Barry vice president of operations and William Simpson vice president of customer support. Barry will develop and manage the company’s manufacturing operations including subcontractor, supplier, material and quality initiatives. Simpson will manage field deployments of the Ensemble system allowing the company to be proactive in assisting customers from field trials to deployment with pre-planning, program management and technical support.

Comsat

Comsat Corp. named Jay Ziegler vice president of corporate communications. He will be responsible for all corporate communications and also oversee the marketing programs for the satellite services and digital networking services divisions of the company. He previously was assistant United States trade representative for public affairs in the Executive Office of the President, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Corsair

Corsair Communications Inc. announced its founder and chief executive officer, Mary Ann Byrnes, has been named chairman of the company’s board of directors. Thomas Meyer, the company’s president and chief operating officer, will become Corsair’s president and CEO.

David Thompson was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. He previously was vice president of marketing for four years.

NetSat Express

NetSat Express Inc. appointed Burt Liebowitz president and chief operating officer. Liebowitz has 25 years of management experience in Internet services, data communications networking and systems integration, most notably with Mitre Corp., Contel and Loral Orion, where he was chief technical officer.
