ARLINGTON, Va.-U.S. factory sales of telecommunications products in the first half of the year rose to nearly $41.6 billion, an 18-percent increase from last year’s first-half sales of $35.2 billion, according to figures released by the Telecommunications Industry Association.
“The substantial growth in factory sales reflects a rebound in the economies of Asia and Latin America, which rely on U.S.-manufactured products to meet their communication needs,” said TIA President Matthew J. Flanigan.
