NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.-Conexant Systems said it opened a wireless communications research and development center in Shanghai, China, and a sales office in Beijing. The Wireless Communications Development Center will allow the company to transfer technology and provide technical support to Conexant customers in China. Conexant provides semiconductor products for communications electronics.
