ATLANTA-Southern LINC said its customer base increased 50 percent in less than a year, from 100,000 customers in October 1998 to 150,000 customers presently.
Since 1996, Southern LINC, the digital wireless communication service from Southern Co., has offered a combination of instant two-way radio, digital phones and alphanumeric paging using Motorola Inc.’s integrated Digital Enhanced Network technology.
