ATLANTA-GTE Wireless and Global Data Wireless announced they have teamed up to offer wireless automatic meter-reading service for gas and electric utility companies and customers.
The solution will have Global Data Wireless installing its CS-832 modem at the utility meter, which will transmit usage information over GTE’s WIN4 national wireless data network.
