NEW YORK-Deutsche Telekom AG launched T-Venture of America Inc., a new, U.S.-based subsidiary that will manage a $100 million venture capital fund focused on investing in the U.S. communications and information technology sectors, said the company.
T-Venture of America Inc. will take minority equity stakes in U.S. start-up companies that have the potential to contribute innovative products and processes to Deutsche Telekom’s own technology platforms and strategic development.
