CLINTON, Miss.-MCI WorldCom Inc. declared a three-for-two stock split to be effected as a 50-percent stock dividend.
The new shares will be distributed Dec. 30 to shareholders of record as of the close of business Dec. 15. Cash will be paid in lieu of fractional shares, the company said.
