HELSINKI, Finland-New World Mobility in Hong Kong said it has finished installing the Nokia General Packet Radio Service solution.
New World Mobility integrated the GPRS solution into its existing Global System for Mobile communications infrastructure for testing and to prepare for future data needs, the company said.
The hardware includes the serving GPRS support node, the gateway GPRS support node, the domain name server, the charging gateway, firewall and Ethernet switches.
Commercial launch of the network is scheduled for mid-2000, New World Mobility said.
