ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J.-Integrated Systems Research said its new FleetTrack automatic vehicle location system is the first to offer users automatic switching from Cellular Digital Packet Data to analog cellular service.
ISR said the functionality will cut operation costs by switching to the more expensive analog coverage only when necessary.
“The ability to tie multiple communication networks together is very attractive for large regional and national companies,” said Cary Campbell, national AVL segment manager for AT&T Corp.
