OWNINGS MILLS, Md.-Aether Systems Inc. opened its expanded network operations center, which hosts the company’s wireless stock trading, Internet and e-mail services, as well as other wireless data applications.
The expanded NOC was made necessary primarily to handle the increased demand expected by OmniSky Inc., which Aether partly owns. OmniSky provides wireless Internet services for Minstrel V modem-equipped Palm V connected organizers.
