HELSINKI-Nokia Corp. announced an agreement to acquire the security software business from TeamWare Group Inc.
“This acquisition will strengthen Nokia’s ability to develop secure network access that will complement our wireless LAN solutions,” said Markku Rauhamaa, vice president, Nokia Wireless Network Solutions.
Approximately 30 security experts in Helsinki and Kista, Sweden, will join Nokia through the acquisition, which is expected to be completed within a month, the company said.
