STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson announced that Per-Arne Sandstrom, currently head of the business unit for Global System for Mobile communications systems, has been appointed executive vice president, head of the North American market area and member of the corporate executive team.
Sandstrom is replacing Bo Dimert, who will serve as senior adviser to corporate management.
The company also noted that Bo Bergstrom, currently head of product unit base transceiver stations for GSM, has been appointed head of the business unit for GSM systems.
