ATLANTA-World Access Inc. completed the sale of its Wireless Local Loop Division to Nera ASA, a Norwegian-based designer and manufacturer of wireless equipment and wireless broadband access solutions.
World Access last year reported it was pursuing strategic alternatives for its Equipment Group as part of a strategy to concentrate on the European telecommunications services market. In December it sold the Galaxy Engineering Services Division to a private investment group, followed by a February announcement that it is selling its Telco Systems Division to BATM Advanced Communications.
