RESTON, Va.-TRW Inc. formed a strategic partnership with Wireless Inc. to develop and market high-speed, broadband wireless Internet access equipment.
The partnership includes licensing TRW’s SpitFire point-to-multipoint access technology. The products developed would be marketed to service providers as an alternative to digital subscriber line, cable modem and other terrestrial-based networks, said TRW.
TRW owns about 19 percent of Wireless.
