MILAN, Italy-Italian wireless operator Omnitel launched its 2000 Shop Center, an e-commerce site offering products from more than 100 companies.
The new online site is accessible to customers through the company’s portal, with future plans for Wireless Application Protocol-enabled phone access.
“After the success of Spazio Omnitel online, we wanted to offer our customers, and all other Net surfers, the chance to purchase more than just Omnitel products in complete security and while on the move,” said Vittorio Colao, managing director of Omnitel.
