MENLO PARK, Calif.-GetThere.com Inc., which offers Internet-based business-to-business travel systems, introduced its GetThere Wireless Network, extending online travel to wireless customers.
The wireless service allows travelers to make changes to their flight arrangements, access itinerary, schedules and flight information and receive status alerts on wireless devices.
In addition, GetThere announced it reached an agreement with GTE Wireless to provide Internet travel services on GTE’s digital wireless phones equipped with the GTE InfoManager wireless Internet service.
