LAS VEGAS-Murata Electronics North America has reported 50-percent growth in the products affiliated with its Design Win Registration Products Program the company launched at last year’s Electronic Distribution Show.
According to Murata, the program was developed to adapt to the shorter product life cycles and more specific requirements needed for wireless technologies, allowing the company to recognize and work with customers on component requirements for their designs.
“We created the Design Win Registration Program to expand our customer base through adapting to the needs of the wireless market, and it has succeeded tremendously-a fact demonstrated by both this program’s growth and the company’s record sales,” noted Barbara Buckalew, national manager of Murata.
“We are constantly improving the program by incorporating new components which adds to its value for our distributors and their customers,” Buckalew added.
The wireless industry products included in the program include microwave, high-frequency inductors, ceramic filters and resonators.
