NEW YORK-Mobilocity Inc. will develop and deliver wireless business offerings to its Global 1000 clients using AvantGo Inc.’s Enterprise solutions.
AvantGo’s infrastructure software and services are designed to mobilize intranet content and business applications, allowing corporations to transfer information from the corporate intranet or extranet to mobile devices.
“AvantGo offers a great foundation for companies to create enterprise-level efficiencies through mobile applications,” said Omar Javaid, chief executive officer of Mobilocity. “Using AvantGo technology, companies will be able to enhance their internal corporate wireless and mobile communications, and Mobilocity will have the ability to design and build these solutions.”
The agreement calls for both companies to collaborate on joint marketing activities.
