NEW YORK-A new report from Deutsche Banc Alex.Brown says the wireless Web opportunity will extend the e-services market at least another 25 percent and possibly more than 50 percent during the next two to three years.
“Reminiscent of the development of the Internet computing buildout in the mid-1990s, we think the market is on the cusp of a new wave of computing-wireless computing or the `wireless Web’-where the real business impacts of mobile commerce will be multidimensional and the required solution infrastructure buildout projects will grow in size and complexity,” said Mark D’Annolfo, co-author of the report.
Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown’s Mark D’Annolfo and Bill Zinsmeister released the report, “The Wireless Integrator,” highlighting what they believe will be the next meaningful wave of eServices.
The report notes that while the opportunity is currently small, the already-established interactive integrators are well-positioned to take advantage of the upcoming investment cycle.
“We believe wireless-focused interactive integrators will be one of the most defensible and profitable ways for investors to play the forthcoming wireless Web opportunity,” Zinsmeister said.
